As a member of the South Pacific Strategy, Planning and Operations Team, you will be expected to be an integral member of the NZ sales teams you support based in Auckland. This role encompasses operations, strategy, and planning in support of making sales successful by maximizing their customer face time and minimizing the internal operations management requirement. You will be the go to resource for Sales around forecasting, business performance analysis, quota setting, QBR support, sales coverage, and analytical reporting.

Typically, the role performs back-office functions and is a non-customer facing role responsible for performing general and specific tasks related to the effective execution and support of the end to end sales cycle processes. Duties include gathering financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives. Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analysing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives.

You will be expected to possess the following:

  • A University degree or equivalent experience.

  • Typically 1-2 years of experience in a related field.

  • Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.

  • Genuine interest in finance/business analysis.

  • Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques.

  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.

  • Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Developing knowledge of internal processes and policies.

  • Good teamwork skills and time management skills.
