Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, this full-time permanent position covers Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty territories. Offering flexibility in working hours as you will spend most of your time meeting clients and generating new business.

If you have proven experience in delivering sales target and worked in a similar industry - hardware or construction then we would love to hear from you.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Grow new and existing client base

  • Engaging the right stakeholders to uncover existing or potential needs for opportunities

  • Be responsible for driving sales, client satisfaction and nurturing referrals

  • Relationship building, networking and creating lasting rapport

  • Maintaining a solid opportunity pipeline

  • Sourcing and pursuing new business opportunities

We are looking for an individual who:

  • has proven experience in delivering sales targets in the hardware or the construction Industry

  • has excellent customer management skills

  • an effective communicator – excellent written and verbal skills

  • extensive background and experience working with both distributors and end users

  • have demonstrated strong planning and project management skills utilising your knowledge to problem solve, negotiate and influence people on all levels with strong commercial acumen.

  • has effective relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders is essential in the success in this role.
