An opportunity has become available for an Inventory Specialist in New Zealand to join our Ethicon Surgical Care team in a contract role. This unique role is responsible for providing admin support to our hospital customers in the areas of inventory management for a range of our Ethicon products. You will work very closely with nurses, theatre managers and procurement staff within the hospitals we provide a service to.
Key responsibilities will include:
Inventory Management of suture and other wound closure, access and ligation products within assigned hospitals
Identifying customer needs and coordinating education and training sessions
Supporting Ethicon products in the clinical setting within the Operating Theatre including product trials and evaluations
Submission of territory reports including qualitative and quantitative information on customer feedback, competitor activity and relevant market issues
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through customer relationships, support and service

We require someone who loves attention to detail and who is happy working autonomously in a hospital environment doing inventory management. Strong customer service skills will be required as you will be talking with purchasing managers. Good problem solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate would have an admin background ideally in a hospital inventory environment. We are looking for someone who is very passionate customer service professional who loves interacting with people face to face and providing a high quality of service.
To ensure success in this role though, you will need to demonstrate:
Extremely strong customer service skills and have the ability to work with people at all levels
A strong attention to detail
Have the aptitude to take on board and impart clinical information to nurses and non-clinical stakeholders
Proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint and other software.
