Human Resources Business Partner - New Zealand



Due to an internal promotion, we are excited to find our next Human Resources (HR) Business Partner, to join the ANZ HR team. As a HR Business Partner to our NZ operations based in our Auckland office, you will provide HR support to ensure delivery of our strategic HR imperatives developed in accordance with business goals.


Throughout the 18-month contract, you will partner with NZ business leaders and the broader ANZ HR team to deliver the following:

  • Lead processes to deliver HR initiatives focused on delivering our strategic imperatives across our key people pillars; Talent & Organisation; Employer Branding; Learning and Culture.

  • Implement and coordinate change initiatives to support enhanced organisational effectiveness within the business

  • Develop and embed a high-performance culture

  • Coach and support line managers with day-to-day queries across the employee lifecycle

  • Drive best practice performance management across all facets of employee and industrial relations

  • Play a key role in the implementation of HR innovation across the areas of People Experience, People Operations, Recruitment, Rewards and Benefits, Payroll and Global Mobility.


  • Demonstrated experience in Human Resources, ideally in a generalist advisory role

  • Previous experience in managing change in a large complex organisation

  • Previous experience across employee and industrial relations with extensive knowledge of New Zealand Employment Laws

  • Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship building skills

  • A degree in Human Resources is regarded highly
